Or you can answer my questions: (I would be greatly appreciative)
in Step 3) that states to Replace the
netapi32.dll, I go to that directory folder and paste the file, but there's no "original file there', so I am not actually replacing anything, I am only pasting the new file called
netapi32.dll (unless the directory is elsewhere, or the cracker meant that we copy and paste that file, not replace?)
In Step 4) I found my HOSTNAME and my MAC, do I put them after the word SERVER in the text file of lic.dat? Or do I delete the word SERVER altogether (i mean the first SERVER word) - Can you please provide an example of how to write it near each other? my MAC in the LMTOOLS is all lower case letters without dashes, whether in the Ethernet settings, it is made of capital letters, in pairs, separated by dashes. Could that be affecting Autodesk not finding the License? Can you please give an example here on how you replace and write the SERVER HOSTNAME + MAC all near each other...?
In Step 5), What does the cracker mean by "Run the license manager with lmgrd.exe -z -c lic.dat
" (what is -z -c) - I can only see the
lmgrd.exe as a separate file, and the
lic.dat as a separate file as well.
do you have winrar installed? if so just read the directions in the medicine folder
Thanks for the feedback! yes I followed the instructions and installed, but Maya failed to start and to find a license. Below are the steps in the Medicine instructions that I did not fully understand:

After I click on
Select a Network License and specify where the file is I get this:
Flexnet License Finder:
Your application was not able to obtain a license because the FlexNet license server manager could not determine where to find the licensing data it needs. Please choose one of the following:
Specify the License Server System
Specify the License File
Also I did not fully understand
Step 7) What is the
flexlm daemon?
EDIT:
I found an answer from ChatGPT for
Step 5)
To run lmgrd.exe with the "-z -c" options as you mentioned earlier, you would typically need to open a command prompt or terminal window, navigate to the directory containing lmgrd.exe, and then type the command:
This command instructs lmgrd.exe to start the license manager with zero downtime license borrowing enabled, using the license file "lic.dat" located in the same directory.
I will try if that was the issue. But would still need answers for
Step 3 and
Step 4. ChatGPT 4.0 couldn't give me a clear answer :/
EDIT:
Although I found an answer from ChatGPT for
Step5, I still don't know how to write a command prompt for the -z -c and specify the directory, because the default directory is
C:/Users/user -- I am not a coding professional :/ I am used to Copy and Paste Medicines. This looks complex to me
PLZ HELP
I'm on Windows 11 btw, can someone who has Windows 11 upload a Step by Step video for everything mentioned in the Medicine folder?
