Thanks but I need Win XP for a old PC (DDR1) This would have been perfect but it doesn't work.Or just use mine.
Ok and Thanks.Well, if your pc is that old(lack of SSE2), just try one of my older releases (May 2018 or even Nov 2017).
hello, i am trying to downgrade an old laptop that has windows 10 to this XP but when i create the boot usb ( with rufus ) and select the boot order in the laptop bios , when i save and exit, nothing happens, it continues to windows 10 normally...any help ? thanks !
Well, yes. You must select booting from USB differently. Forget about that boot order in BIOS!
First of all insert the USB then start your PC/laptop and when the image of your motherboard appears press F8 (it might be F8 or other Fbutton on your keyboard, it depends on the computer) before the image disappears and a label will appear. From that label you are to select the Boot from your USB. That's all! Attention!... During the installation your PC will restart and you'll have to get again into the USB the same way I've already described in order to continue the installation.
Good luck and success!
thanks for the reply!, i´ve managed to boot the usb and aparently xp installs normally but when it restarts, it goes back to the usb and the instalation setup appears again like it never installed in the first place!

Yes, I've already told you, when the PC restarts you must go back into the USB pressing again F8 while the image of the motherboard is on, then select again USB Booting from that label and the installation will go on immediately, is it clear now? Come on, it's so simple! Don't forget pressing F8 at each restart!
